Somewhere in the wild lands of California lies a mountain many attempt to climb, and many fail. Mount Whitney, a peak once called Tumanguya, is the home of sheer cliffs, rocky paths, and most notoriously the vicious marmot. Can you brave the terrors of the climb, or will you succumb to indignity at the hand of the marmots?

A Climb of Intrigue

Super Tumanguya Climber is a mish-mash of genres- with high stakes platforming and turn-based battles, you'll help the climbers of Whitney Mountain recover their missing items from the mountains furry bandits.

A Climb of Discovery

I was commissioned to make this game by a playdate owner who wanted a silly platformer full of inside jokes to share with friends. This person wanted me to share this final product with the world (minus a few small changes for privacy). Will you understand the inside jokes? Probably not. Don't worry, I made the game and even I don't understand them. I still think there's plenty of enjoyment to have here.

A Climb for the Playdate

Super Tumanguya Climber is best enjoyed on a playdate device! It uses the d-pad, A and B buttons. Platforming sections will require dexterity.
