Pahtkest! is a puzzle battle game where you must connect matching tiles together together in the longest possible line to attack your foes.  Connected tiles will be cleared, and if they were marked with an enemy that enemy will take damage.  You can also use a bomb to blow up any tile on the board. 

Ending your turn without killing an enemy causes you to take 1 damage- once you lose all your health, it's game over!  If you kill an enemy however, you get 1 copper coin and heal 2 health, and you won't take damage that turn.

You get 1 copper coin for each enemy you kill. 10 copper coins become 1 silver coin, and 10 silver coins become 1 gold coin.

About The Development

Pahtkest! was developed as a small independent challenge.  I aimed to make a puzzle game without any recognizable or translatable text (including numbers).  When it turned into a highscore game, this posed a bit of an issue, hence the strange coin system for keeping track of score.  Overall I'm pretty happy with the result, and I think besides the strange scoring system the game stands well on its own despite this restriction.  I hope you agree and enjoy it!
